MIAMI POPS with Miami Symphony and 25 artists of all genre


Miami, FL - March 8th, 2018 – Following the spectacular success of "Miami Rocks" in 2016, the city of the sun is getting ready to present "MIAMI POPS” a symphonic feast with the best Pop, Rock and Latin Music by The Miami Symphony Orchestra and its Music Director and Conductor Maestro Eduardo Marturet, on March 18th at 6:00 pm at the Adrienne Arsht Center - Knight Concert Hall together with 25 amazing artists from all genre.

Marturet has been working over months with the famous producer Rudy Perez, "Classical-Crossover Director" of The Miami Symphony to create a unique event “MIAMI POPS”, this spectacular show will be the best of Miami from Salsa and Rock to Tango, under the Executive Production of Fernando Duprat.

Featuring amazing artists as Angie Green, Victor Espinola, Ed Calle, Heaven Star, Nani, Hansel de Muñoz, Madeline Laine, Tomey Sellars, Fernando Varela, Gabriel Mores, FIN! FAG! FOOM Chris Price, Jon Blond among others.

The repertoire will be having pieces by Porter, Dominguez, Emilio Estefan, Rudy Perez, Liszt, Piazzolla, Benson, Gardel, and Puccini.

Miami is ready for "MIAMI POPS" the symphonic party with the best of Latin Tunes, Rock, and Tango! and amazing new music. A totally unique, highly uplifting performance with a lot of surprises. Athina Klioumi will be giving a short speech to remember the victims from this past Valentine’s Day, where a heavily armed 19-year-old who had been expelled from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, opened fire on campus shortly before classes let out, killing 17 innocent people. For that Miami Symphony Cross over director Rudy Perez, will present his so beautiful world premiere “Live To See Another Day” ,written by him and Burt Bacharach and 2 young amazing special guest artist of this amazing night will be singing this unbelievable moving song: Haven Starr & Angie Green!
