La Musa Award 2016
Regresó este año La Musa Awards 2016 y este año fue realmente un impresionante súper show con muchos artistas latinos reconocidos presentándose y otros entregando premios.
Una gala bellísima que se presentó en el Fillmore Jackie Gleason Theater.
Para mi fue un inmenso placer y honor presentar el premio La Musa awards a la artista latinoamericana Julieta Venegas. Vestida de Ángel Sanchez con un vestido dorado y con tiras mauve salí al escenario a presentar este tan merecido premio de esta encantadora, auténtica, multi-instrumentista, premiadísima compositora latina, cantante y activista. Realmente me encantan sus canciones y su estilo. Fué un increíble mega espectáculo que Rudy perez y Desmond Child crearon hace ya unos años. Richard Jay Alexander es el director y Eduardo Marturet dirige este show por segunda vez , junto a algunos de sus músicos de la Miami Symphony Orchestra. Ver al Maestro dirigir estos conciertos crossover donde dirige un genre tras otro y a todo clase de artistas, sus músicos clásicos y los populares, es realmente impresionante!!!!! Como dice el gran productor Rudy Perez: ¨Maestro es un super star y realmente único!!!! Yo me sentí muy feliz de poder participar este año como host y compartir con Lenny Kravitz, Emily y Emilio Estefan, la India, Pittingo, Ender, Lena Burke, Sam Moore, Draco Rosa y tantos artistas maravillosos artistas un rato divino. Gracias a Betsy Perez y todos que hicieron posible este evento.

The annual gala Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame La Musa Awards 2016 this year was amazing and strongest then ever with so many hispanic super talents who performed and others who received an award. It was really a beautiful, very classy, highly entertaining mega show, full of charm & harmony, presented at the Fillmore Jackie Gleason Theater, created by producer Rudy Perez and Desmond Child.
It was a great pleasure and honor for me to give the La Musa Award 2016 to the south- american mega star, Julieta Venegas. I loved my golden haute couture dress by Angel Sanchez with the dark mauve stripes at the décolleté and jewels by Tarbay. I stepped on stage to present the award of this enchanting, very original, authentic, versatile latin woman composer, singer and activist. I really always loved her songs and style! It was really a marvelous show created some years ago by this reknown producers. Richard Jay Alexander was the director of this show! Maestro Eduardo Marturet conducted this awesome event, for the 2nd consecutive year and absolutely divinely, switching from one genre to the other in his so original way. As producer Rudy Perez says it: Marturet is a súper star and totally unique. Also amazing to watch are his extraordinary outfits. His shoes specially made by by Donald Pliner and his outfit by Carlos Benguigui. I loved to join this amazing event this year as a host & enjoy it together with all this fabulous artists as Lenny Kravitz, Emliy & Emilo Estefan, La India, Pitingo, Luis Fonsi, John Secada, Ender, Lena Burke, Sam Moore, Draco Rosa and so many more. Thank you to Betsy Perez and all others who made this event possible.
